  • I see patients 18+ years old.

First and foremost: you’re ready to do some hard but productive inner and outer work, you are motivated for change, and you’re willing to be held accountable (in a supportive way). I can support a wide range of patients, but I have particular expertise in the areas listed below:

    For psychiatric medications management:

    • PTSD and trauma related symptoms (nightmares, flashbacks, hypervigilance, physical anxiety i.e. heart palpitations, chest tightness, shortness of breath)

    • Anxiety (“I’m anxious all the time and I don’t know why”, obsessive, OCD/intrusive thoughts or compulsions that you can’t control, social anxiety, performance anxiety, panic attacks)

    • Mood Disorders (feeling sad, depressed, unmotivated, tired, difficulty regulating emotions/feeling very “up and down”, bipolar disorder, major depression)

    • ADHD (you can’t focus, concentrate, organize, and it’s affecting your personal and professional life, and it doesn’t appear related to anything else)

    For individual therapy:

    • You have a history of familial, relationship, or other trauma that’s getting in way of feeling like you can fully live your life

    • You feel that you have unresolved potential or stuck, and you’re trying to become the best version of yourself in your personal and professional life

    • You identify (or have complex feelings about identifying) as BIPOC, 1st/2nd generation immigrant/child of immigrants, and wish to explore complexities of family, romantic relationships, identity, and/or self-esteem

    • You want to learn how to love yourself so you can better love others

    • You work in a social justice related field, and are struggling with burnout and wish to renew your passion for your mission

  • I’m your biggest fan, and want you to achieve everything you have thought of and everything you will start to imagine. I am supportive and light-hearted, but believe these must be balanced by taking the serious things seriously. Encouraging accountability is a consistent trend in all my sessions, but one that is made in partnership with you.
